I Contain Multitudes

“I Contain Multitudes” is an acknowledgment and celebration of our humanity, of our rich and complex inner lives. We are often treated like our feelings must be singular, or entirely consistent. But the truth is that we often feel or think many things at the same time, some of which seem to be in opposition to one another. We may be grieving, and also feeling relief. We might be excited for a new season while simultaneously mourning what we leave behind. There is freedom in being able to say, my feelings don’t have to make sense. There is room for nuance, for complication, for being human. I hope you give yourself that freedom now and in the future.
